Le partenariat pour le soutien en emploi est une collaboration entre des chercheurs, des professionnels du soutien en emploi, des organisations communautaires, des personnes autistes et des proches de ces personnes.
Nous travaillons ensemble pour promouvoir l'emploi inclusif pour les personnes autistes ou ayant une déficience intellectuelle.
Aparna Nadig est une chercheure qui compte vingt ans d'expérience. Ses travaux portent, entre autres, sur les services innovants de soutien et d'intervention pour promouvoir l'inclusion sociale des personnes autistes. En collaboration avec la Dre Flanagan, elles ont codéveloppé un programme de soutien à la transition pour améliorer l'autodétermination des jeunes adultes autistes. Ce programme a été évalué dans le cadre d’une étude randomisée contrôlée (Nadig, Flanagan, White et Bhatnager, 2018; White, Flanagan et Nadig, 2018).
Tara Flanagan a travaillé, au cours des vingt dernières années, avec des personnes autistes ou ayant une déficience intellectuelle dans des contextes pratiques ou de recherche. Elle possède une vaste expérience en recherche-action et par rapport aux approches inclusives en éducation et en emploi.
Valérie Martin est candidate au doctorat en psychoéducation à l'Université de Montréal et détient une maîtrise en science de la gestion de HEC Montréal. Elle s'intéresse aux facteurs organisationnels qui influencent le processus d'intégration des employés autistes dans un nouvel emploi.
Flavio Murahara est un étudiant au doctorat en psychologie de l'éducation à l'Université McGill. Ses champs d'intérêt en recherche sont le développement des compétences de défense autonome de leurs droits pour les étudiants ayant une déficience intellectuelle, l'éducation inclusive et la théorie de l'autodétermination.
Depuis 2017, Rakhee collabore au programme national de préemploi EmploymentWorks de la Fondation Miriam, où elle aide les jeunes adultes autistes à développer leurs compétences afin de les aider à obtenir des emplois valorisants.
Comme personne autiste, Mathieu œuvre comme chercheur, consultant-expert, enseignant, conférencier, blogueur, intervenant et mentor au sujet de l'autisme. Il est aussi un des coorganisateurs de la Journée de la neurodiversité et de la Journée mondiale de la neurodiversité.
Natalie s’investit dans la défense des droits, en tant que membre de la communauté, employeur et mère d’un fils autiste. Elle s'intéresse à la recherche et au développement de stratégies et de programmes visant à améliorer la vie des autistes et de leurs familles grâce à la participation et à la collaboration de toutes parties prenantes.
Médecin spécialiste en santé publique et médecine préventive au CHU Sainte-Justine. Elle s'intéresse à la recherche sur les déterminants sociaux de la santé, le bien-être et la qualité de vie des personnes autistes et de leurs familles, dont le soutien social et l'inclusion sociale.
